Okay, I get some questions about my Mascot National Championship sometimes, and yes, it is a real competition.
January 15-18 2010 is the United Cheer Association national championships in Orlando Florida at Walt Disney World.
Mascots are chosen from colleges all over the nation to attend and give their best 90 second performance to see who is the best mascot.
The defending champions are “Chip” from the University Of Colorado in Division 1A, and “YOuDee” from University of Delaware in the open division (pictured above).
