Well, another season of hoping for a good Olympic mascot is over… Maybe 2016 will be good to us.
The organizing committee for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games has released their shortlist of mascots for voting.
And, other than not really being a “short” list, it includes some familiar and not so familiar faces.
First of all, there is Santa. I know, the Russians call him Ded Moroz, but that’s Santa Claus, plain and simple.
Then you have the obvious bear, a sexy cat, the sun, the Twitter bird, and a dolphin on skis.
If I do have to pick my favorite from this list, it would be the Matryoshka dolls. You know, thos eweird little dolls that stack inside each other. I think it represents RUssia, plus, I’d love to see a performer try and wear that outfit.
